How to Use the Tattoo Tech Bluetooth Thermal Stencil Printer

1. Set Up the Printer

1. Charge the Printer
   

• Use the included USB-C cable to charge the Tattoo Tech Thermal Stencil Printer

•  3-hour charge gives you enough power for about 100 stencil prints.
  

• Make sure to charge fully before first use for optimal battery health.
  

2. Install the App
   

• Download the Tattoo printer app on your phone or tablet.

• Through this app, you can pick designs, scale them, preview them (even in 3D), and send to the printer.

3. Load Thermal Transfer Paper
   

• Use A4 Tattoo Tech thermal tattoo transfer paper. No ink or ribbon is needed.
  

• Make sure paper is loaded correctly: align the paper so it fits within the maximum paper placement width (~216 mm).

• The effective printing width is about 210 mm.

2. Prepare Your Design

1. Choose or Create a Design
   

• Use the Tattoo Printer app or your design software to choose or draw the stencil you want to print.
  

• Make sure your design is high-contrast (clear black lines work best for stencil transfer). 

2. Scale / Adjust
   

• Within the app, scale the design to fit the body part where the stencil will go. Use the 3D preview (if available) to check how it will look on the client.

• You may also decide print settings (density, darkness) depending on how bold or light you want the stencil lines.
  

3. Print the Stencil

1. Connect the Device

2. Start Printing
   

• In the app, tap “Print” (or corresponding command) once everything is set.

• Let the machine do its job — don’t pull the paper mid-print.
  

3. Cooling

4. Apply the Stencil to Skin

1. Prepare the Skin
   

• Clean the area thoroughly (shave hair if needed).
  

• Use a stencil transfer gel to help transfer the design from the paper to the skin. 
  

2. Apply the Printed Stencil
   

• Align the printed Tattoo Tech Thermal sheet on the skin exactly where you want the tattoo.
  

• Press firmly and evenly for several seconds (5–10 sec is common) to ensure the design transfers well.
  

• Gently peel off the thermal paper — pull slowly to avoid smudging.
  

3. Check the Transfer
   

• Look over the stencil on the skin. If any lines are weak or missing, you may need to reprint or use a touch-up method.
  

Tips & Troubleshooting

• If your prints come out too faint or patchy, check that the paper is loaded correctly. Misalignment can cause weak or incomplete prints.
  

• If the printer jams, pause printing, open the lid (or cover), and let it cool down before retrying.
  

• For very fine line work: use a higher-contrast design, or adjust the darkness settings in the app.
